Choc Chip (brown) was surrendered to us alongside her three brothers after an accidental pregnancy left her mother with 6 babies. To avoid any more accidents, Choc Chip was separated from her brothers, and as the only girl in the litter, she was forced to be housed alone. Choc Chip was very shy and timid without her brothers, and we knew we needed to find her a friend.
HunnyBun (blonde) was surrendered alongside another bunny as well. Things were fine at first with HunnyBun and her friend, but unfortunately they did not adapt well to the move and had to be separated for safety reasons.
Once both these girls were on their own, we figured they would make the perfect pair and decided to introduce them. HunnyBun is sweet and loving, which was just the kind of friend Choc Chip needed to help boost her confidence. Now the girls get along beautifully and are totally inseparable. Choc Chip is so much happier with her new friend and we are so proud of her progress.
If you're looking for an independent pet who also loves human contact, these girls are the best of both worlds. Choc Chip is pretty shy with people, but HunnyBun loves pats and will happily hang out with her human friends. If you have a busy schedule, you have no need to worry about these girls, as they are happy to keep each other company and never get bored when they're together.
